7. Google User Data
ParsaLink integrates with Google Workspace to provide specific CRM features. Each Google permission we request is tied to a distinct feature, and we request nothing beyond what each feature needs:
- Calendar (view your calendar list; view and edit events): lets you choose which calendar to sync, creates and updates meeting events from the CRM, generates Google Meet links, and stores a local copy of each event's title, description, location, start and end times, status, and Meet link so Parsa can check your existing events and avoid double-booking.
- Google Drive (only files you choose or that ParsaLink creates): lets you attach specific files you choose through Google's file picker to CRM records, and copies documents you create in ParsaLink to a Drive folder you select. ParsaLink stores each file's name and link; it cannot see any other files in your Drive.
- Gmail (send only): sends email from your connected Gmail account when you send a message in ParsaLink. When you ask Parsa AI to draft an email, it prepares the message for your review before it is sent; when you ask Parsa AI to send one of your saved email templates to a contact or group of contacts, it sends that template on your instruction. ParsaLink does not list, read, or otherwise access the contents of your inbox.
Google user data is used only to provide these features to you — including through Parsa AI, our built-in AI assistant, which may read your Calendar data to check availability and schedule events, can draft emails for your review, and can send your saved email templates at your request through your connected Gmail account. Your Google data is never sold; never transferred to advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers; never used for advertising, including retargeting or personalized ads; never used to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes; and never used to train generalized AI or ML models.
ParsaLink staff do not read Google user data unless you give us explicit permission for a specific item (for example, when you ask for support), it is necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, it is required to comply with applicable law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
Google data is retained for as long as your account and the relevant integration stay connected. Turning off Calendar, Gmail, or Drive individually in ParsaLink Settings stops ParsaLink from using that feature, but keeps the underlying access token stored; to fully revoke access, disconnect Google entirely from ParsaLink Settings, which deletes the token, the connection, and our cached copy of your Calendar events. A Google Calendar event you have already converted into a ParsaLink CRM record is treated as your CRM data and is not deleted by disconnecting. You can also revoke ParsaLink's access directly from your Google Account permissions page, which immediately stops Google from honoring that access. ParsaLink marks the connection as disconnected when it next tries to use it, and automatically deletes the stored token, the connection, and our cached copy of your Calendar events about seven days later. Google data you have imported or synced into ParsaLink is deleted when you delete your account, or within 30 days of a request to [email protected].
ParsaLink's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
ParsaLink uses third-party AI providers — Anthropic (Claude API), xAI (Grok API), and OpenAI (GPT API) — to power Parsa AI features you choose to use. The only Google user data sent to these providers is Calendar event data (to check availability and schedule meetings) and the content of emails Parsa AI composes for you to send through Gmail. Drive file content is not sent to AI providers. We use these providers under commercial API terms that prohibit using our data to train their models, and we do not take part in any program that allows them to do so; each provider may retain API request data for a limited period (up to 30 days) solely to monitor for abuse, after which it is deleted. Google user data is never used to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or ML models, whether by us or by our providers. We do not use aggregators or intermediary model gateways.
